10 Activities To Do Over The Holidays
Stanley Park Bright Nights
What to expect: Over the holiday season, the Bright Nights Christmas Train and Stanley Park Plaza sparkle with three million twinkling lights. Grab a Hot Chocolate or Apple Cider for the train ride or while walking around the plaza.
When: Thursday, November 26, 2015 to Saturday, January 2, 2016 and is closed on Friday, December 25 for Christmas.

Canyon Lights at Capilano Suspension Bridge
What to expect: The suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, the rainforest and canyon are transformed into a world of festive lights and visual enchantment. See the world’s tallest living Christmas tree, go on a Snowy Owl Prowl, decorate gingerbread cookies and make your own Christmas card (by donation) in the Winter Pavilion, and sing-along with the holiday band.
When: November 27, 2015 - January 3, 2016, Closed Christmas Day.

Burnaby Village Museum
What to expect:Walk around the village to see all of the Holiday lights and decorations, pop in to various shows and ride the carousel.

What to expect: Delisous food, drinks, entertainment and an array of Christmas gifts.

What to expect: Beautiflul Woodward's winder dislplay, arts & crafts, Rudolfs Theatre, Avenue of Christmas Trees and more.

Festival of Lights at VanDusen Garden
What to expect: A magical winter wonderland with over one million lights decorating VanDusen Garden. Walk through the gardens to see interactive themed areas and enjoy the Dancing Lights show on Livingstone Lake, the gnome performance and the Vancouver Public Library's Tales for a Winter's Night.
When: December 1, 2015 - December 31, 2015.

The Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain
What to expect: Vancouver's North Pole where you can have breakfast with Santa, visit his workshop or vote for your favourite creation in the SOS Children's Gingerbread Village.
When: Novermber 27, 2015 - Janurary 4, 2016.

Spirit of Christmas at Sea to Sky Gondola
What to expect: Experience the beauty of the surrounding snow-capped mountains and explore the pristine outdoors by taking a walk or a by snowshoeing on our trails, tubing or, for the experienced, back-country skiing. Indoors, join us in the decorated Summit Lodge for scheduled holiday performances and events throughout the month December.
When: December 4, 2015 - January 3, 2016.

Carol Ships Parade of Lights
What to expect: Watch on shore as boats sail by. On peak evenings, this holiday tradition has grown to more than 50 decorated boats, with in excess of 100,000 lights, and carries over 30,000 people during the month of December festival.
When: Saturday, December 12th, Friday, December 18th and Saturday, December 19th.

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
What to expect: A visit from Saint Nick himself, Live music and a DJ, A festive sing-along, Costume prizes for the Ugliest Sweater, Most Original Sweater, Best Moustache, and Group Costume and Mistletoe and milk & cookies.
When: Friday, December 18, 2015.
